Wild Honey Foundation Backyard Show

Wild Honey Foundation Backyard Shows presents an amazing afternoon of music by a wonderful trio of musical combos: GospelbeacH (acoustic) featuring band leader Brent Rademaker, a very rare West Coast appearance by the Knoxville Tennesee duo Bark (featuring Tim Lee, co-founder of the Windbreakers and former member of Let's Active), and his wife Susan Bauer Lee, plus Anny Celsi with special guest Nelson Bragg (formerly of Brian Wilson's Band). The show will benefit the Autism Think Tank and the non-profit Wild Honey Foundation.

We're supporting the fabulous Freedy Johnston, known as a "songwriter's songwriter," and hailed by Rolling Stone for his Record of the Year (which year? not important). If you don't recall his catchy hit Bad Reputation, I promise you will be singing it after hearing just one line. It's one of the songs that are that good. And he has lots more!

Freedy is kicking the night off with a solo set at 8, followed by us around 9, then topping off the Freedy sandwich at 10 with his all-star band, Severo Jornacion and David Raven.

Freedy's shows are wide-ranging, heartfelt and loose and a lot of fun!  Come down and join us - it's Monday, it's a holiday, it's a perfect world!

THE ORIGINAL SCOTCHPLAINSMEN – Severo Jornacion, Derrick Anderson, Kenny Howes, and Nelson Bragg – are pleased to announce that founding member of The Smithereens and guitarist, JIM BABJAK, will be joining the BIRTHDAY TRIBUTE TO PAT DINIZIO! Come celebrate Pat’s life, memory, and music on Saturday, October 13 at T. Boyle’s Tavern in Pasadena, CA! Also joining the band are guest musicians Bobby Bognar, Kristi Callan, Anny Celsi, Michael Hamilton, Drew Match, Mark McCrite, George Mena, Dan Navarro, Robbie Rist, Marty Ross, Dan Rothchild, Dave Schulz, and Greg Tortell.

Celsi, Bragg & Maitland - UK Tour 2018

Here we go - Celsi, Bragg & Maitland UK Tour 2018 is just over a week away! Starting in Woodstock, ending up in the western wilds of Scotland, this year’s Summer of Love road trip covers 20 dates in 30 days.

We’re changing things up a bit this time round with some stellar special guests! Joining us onstage at select shows will be Tony Poole (of Starry-Eyed & Laughing and the highly acclaimed Bennett Wilson Poole) and from Chicago, USA, composer/multi-instrumentalist (and my very own son!) Ivan Pyzow.  Filling in for Duncan Maitland on some of the gigs we have Robyn Gibson (of The Junipers), Dan Beaulaurier and Neil Sturgeon (of The Goldenhour and the Infomaniacs)! And along the way, we’ll be sharing the night with some of our favorite UK artists – Bob of the Pops, Kontiki Suite, Dropkick and The Wellgreen.

Jason Luckett's Holiday Show

Jason's mother is visiting from New Hampshire, so he wanted to put on a show, and invited us. It became a celebration! Very happy to be participating along with Nelson Bragg and my talented son, Ivan Pyzow.  Proceeds go to Hillsides Youth Moving On in Pasadena. Here's the basic running order:

South Pasadena Eclectic Music Festival

South Pasadena's Eclectic Music Festival and Art Walk features a diverse musical line up – over 40 acts performing on multiple stages around town.  There's an Art Walk featuring open galleries, studios and hosted events. Numerous intimate venues appear throughout the city, plus outdoor installations, food trucks and a beer and wine garden. The festival is family friendly and free to attend.

ANNY CELSI BAND performs on the stage at Griffin's of Kinsale, South Pasadena's friendly Irish pub - 7:30 p.m.
